In 1977, property owners, managers, landlords, and developers came together to form a non-profit organization to establish a network of communication with one another throughout the state of Texas. That network became the Rural Rental Housing Association of Texas, which to this day provides a forum of understanding and educational opportunities to the geographically diverse and distant managers of rural housing in Texas.
Rural Rental Housing Association of Texas is dedicated to the enhancement of rural multi-family housing through promotion of professionalism of apartment management by offering its members and their employees affordable training and certification classes.
Landlords and property managers throughout the state of Texas understand the difficulty of keeping track of and understanding Texas landlord-tenant laws and their frequent changes. That's why the Rural Rental Housing Association of Texas exists to educate landlords and property managers in our state to be able to carry out their duties as professionally and successfully as possible.
Education is critical to promoting growth and stability in the rural rental housing industry. RRHA's vast network of affiliated associations conduct regular meetings with industry professionals on a wide variety of subjects in order to better educate their members to help them establish a more professional image and strengthen their local communities.
